Everton eye Tom Fellows transfer as delegation checks on West Brom ace
Everton are reportedly keeping tabs on West Brom winger Tom Fellows ahead of the January transfer window, according to Alan Nixon.
Fellows has enjoyed his time at West Brom since breaking into the first team last season. However, good performances lead to interest and Everton have once again been linked with the academy ace.
The 21-year-old has demonstrated just how good of a player he can be with five assists so far this season and that is seemingly not going unnoticed by top-flight clubs.
The report from Nixon on his Patreon (27 October) reads: “Everton are checking on West Brom’s young winger Tom Fellows as the Toffees wait for a cash injection.
“The Toffees sent a delegation to look at the England Under-21 cap Fellows who is one of the best players coming through in the Championship.”
West Brom need to keep Tom Fellows
Fellows may not always have been at this best in recent weeks but his ability could prove crucial to the Baggies’ hopes of promotion.
Carlos Corberan’s side are winless in their last six, having failed to score in four of those games, which demonstrates the attacking woes that have stifled what had been an excellent start to the season.
Fellows is a very good winger at this level and one who will only continue to develop with each game and, on his day, he is one of the best wingers in the league.
While West Brom would likely receive a significant fee for the youngster, the Baggies should be aiming to improve their squad this January and not think about cashing in on a prized asset.

Eight points currently separate West Brom from league leaders Sunderland and that gap would be significantly bigger had it not been for Fellows.
The England youth international can certainly contribute to the season and the Baggies should be doing all they can to retain his services.
In other West Brom news, fans were far from impressed with Grady Diangana’s performance during a goalless draw with Cardiff City on Saturday (26 October).
