West Brom to price bidders out of Tom Fellows transfer deal amid new speculation
Dan Bardell believes Tom Fellows will stay at West Brom for the season despite transfer links to Everton.
The 21-year-old has had a superb campaign so far despite a frustrating run of form for the Baggies has seen them pick up just four points from their last six games.
Off the back of a positive start to the season, the Toffees have been keeping tabs on the winger ahead of the January transfer window [Alan Nixon].
Sky Sports and talkSPORT journalist Bardell can’t see Fellows leaving in the winter window as he looks to help the Albion fight it out at the top end of the Championship.
Speaking exclusively to West Brom News, Bardell said: “It’s been a difficult time for West Brom of late, they’re struggling to score goals.
“They aren’t picking up as many points as they were at the start of the season but they’re still bang in the Championship race.
“Tom Fellows is obviously a really good footballer and is a player who is going to continue to be linked with Premier League teams.
“He’s a player who is capable of making the step up but he’ll see out the season with West Brom, I think they’ll still be in the top six.
“I think Fellows will be a big part of that and with the way that the transfer market is now, I don’t see anyone splashing the money that West Brom would want in the summer.“
Tom Fellows to stay at West Brom amid Everton interest
The Baggies have been branded as “foolish” by Carlton Palmer if they were to allow their starlet to depart for the Premier League in January [Football League World, 30 October].
It is safe to say that the large majority of supporters would agree with this given how important the academy product has been under Carlos Corberan this season.
The Englishman has registered five assists in ten games so far this campaign and will be hopeful of adding goals to his game as the season moves on.

It would be wise for Albion to keep hold of their 21-year-old talent during the upcoming window as the club strives towards promotion.
In other West Brom news, Carlos Corberan has a potential promotion ace up his sleeve as a “special” signing has been mooted.
