Carlos Corberan to axe Uros Racic in three changes – West Brom predicted XI v Burnley

Carlos Corberan could drop Uros Racic to the bench in three changes as West Brom welcome Burnley to The Hawthorns on Thursday.

The Baggies are in desperate need of three points after drawing their last five games and going without a win since September.

They welcome Scott Parker’s side to the West Midlands on 7 November who will also want to bounce back to winning ways after losing 1-0 against Millwall last time out.

With all that being said, Corberan may look to utilise his squad depth to make three changes in the hope of securing a much-needed win.

Coming off the back of five draws in a row, it can be said that Alex Palmer can be pleased with his performances, conceding just three goals in his last six games. The Baggies’ number one is likely to keep his starting role against Burnley for this very reason.

The backline has been ravaged by injuries in recent weeks but looks set to remain unchanged against the Clarets. Callum Styles looks set to keep his place with Darnell Furlong in the full back roles with Torbjorn Heggem and Mason Holgate likely to start at centre back.

There looks like there could be changes in midfield with Uros Racic potentially dropping out, leaving Jayson Molumby to start alongside Alex Mowatt.

Further up the pitch, Karlan Grant can be confident of keeping his place on the left while Jed Wallace and Grady Diangana could be set to be axed to be replaced by John Swift and Tom Fellows who came on last time out against Luton.

Up top, after scoring his first goal in five games at Kenilworth road, Josh Maja is likely to keep his role in the starting XI.

In other West Brom news, Dermot Gallagher has raised a really good point after what happened in the Luton Town draw.
