Carlos Corberan to talk with Tom Fellows after what happened in Hull City v West Brom
Tom Fellows has suffered a massive dip in form after such a bright start to the campaign for West Brom.
Having notched five assists in his first seven appearances of the new season, the 21-year-old has not been able to add to his goal contributions in eight games since, whether that be from the start or as a substitute.
The young winger looked rampant in the opening few games, taking on any full-back that dared to block his path and was firing crosses into the penalty area for Josh Maja to feast off.
And even after being restored to Carlos Corberan’s starting XI for the 0-0 draw with Burnley and the 2-1 win over Hull City on Sunday 10 November, he has been one of the first players to make way.
Replaced by Grady Diangana and Lewis Dobbin on each occasion, having not really offered much during his display, fans must be becoming concerned by his drop-off in performances, and so too Corberan.
Tom Fellows concerns surely emerging at West Brom
In his last two appearances, Fellows has looked like a shell of the player who started the campaign, seemingly lacking confidence in the final third and struggling to make any key impact.
Against Burnley, albeit a difficult opponent in the Championship, the 21-year-old had just one blocked shot, created zero chances, delivered zero per cent of his crosses and was dispossessed twice [FotMob].
He also won just 33 per cent of his tackles and aerial duels and lost eight of his 17 ground duels. A similar trend continued at the MKM Stadium, being hooked after just 54 minutes on the pitch.

Fellows only touched the ball 17 times, completing six passes, was dispossessed twice, completed zero per cent of his dribbles and only won 33 per cent of his ground duels [FotMob].
His performances are a far cry from his early displays, something that Corberan needs to address at The Hawthorns before his struggles continue and it becomes more difficult for him to return to form.
