Carlos Corberan may be forced to axe Tom Fellows at West Brom after what’s happened

Carlos Corberan may be forced to axe Tom Fellows from his West Brom starting XI after his recent form.

The attacker is arguably one of the Baggies’ best players but his recent performances have left a lot to be desired.

There have been glimpses of his form from last season, but in West Brom’s recent games against Hull and Burnley he’s been hooked early.

Corberan’s men may be going through an injury crisis defensively, but one area they have plenty of depth in is their attack.

The likes of Grady Diangana and Jed Wallace have been sat on the bench of late and it feels like the latter of the two could put in a better shift than what Fellows has.

Why Jed Wallace needs to be in the West Brom starting XI

While Wallace’s form earlier in the season wasn’t the best, his experience could help provide the Baggies with a bit more of an attacking threat than the youngster at the moment.

The introduction of Wallace on the right wing would mean that West Brom would lose some pace in their attack, but his passing ability would likely make up for that.

He has great vision and has been known to be able to easily pick out his teammates from the other side of the pitch.

The Baggies may have got back to winning ways against Hull on 10 November but if they want to make their way back up into the top two spots, Corberan is going to have to start making some difficult decisions.
