West Brom v Norwich prediction dropped by Sky Sports host – ‘I’m going to go…’

David Prutton has backed West Brom to earned a 2-1 victory over Norwich City on Saturday.

Carlos Corberan’s side go into Saturday’s clash (23 November) at The Hawthorns unbeaten in seven straight games, albeit six of those were draws before a 2-1 win at Hull City before the international break.

Norwich come into this game in poor form having failed to win their past six games but with crucial players like Angus Gunn returning from injury, they will be looking to rectify their form as league action starts up again.

Nevertheless, Prutton thinks the Baggies will win 2-1 as he said on the Essential EFL Podcast (21 November): “It’s three defeats on the spin for Norwich, and I’m going to make it four. West Brom 2-1 Norwich.”

Another three points for West Brom?

The Baggies needed that win before the break given the rut they found themselves in with the run of draws and they face a Norwich side who are struggling to get going.

The hosts will see this as an ideal opportunity to put together back-to-back wins and maintain their position towards the top end of the Championship table.

The West Brom boss will no doubt feel a level of confidence going into this game as he has guided his side to wins both times they have faced the Canaries since his appointment.

That being said, Norwich are set to be boosted by the return of first-choice goalkeeper Gunn whose absence has seemingly affected the side as they haven’t won a game without him.

Prutton is backing the Baggies to overcome their opponents this weekend and Corberan will be hoping this is the case as they look to start picking up three points on a more regular basis.
