West Brom attacker Grady Diangana injury update emerges

West Brom attacker Grady Diangana may take some time to return from his calf injury, according to Dr Rajpal Brar.

The injury expert claims that the best case would be merely muscle tightness, there remain chances of significant damage being done to the Achilles.

The 26-year-old has not played for the Baggies since 10 November and has been aiming to make his first-team return.

Reacting to his situation, injury expert Dr Brar – who is a physical therapy specialist and sports scientist – has told West Brom News:Best case here would be a Grade 0 injury to the calf – just muscle tightness – while worst case would be something like a significant muscle tear to the calf and/or damage to the Achilles as well.

He had been dealing with pain in that region recently as well.

He appears to be dealing with fitness issues so may not be back to full fitness soon.

Grady Diangana has been a peripheral figure for West Brom

The 26-year-old has played 12 league games, but has only started five of those and has not yet found the back of the net.

He has been utilised as a number 10 as well as on the right wing, but Carlos Corberan is yet to see the best of him this season.

Along with that, he has been battling injury issues, further adding to his woes for the Baggies.
