West Brom fact stuns Sky Sports host in Sheff Utd prediction – ‘Wowsers’
David Prutton was taken aback by the number of draws West Brom have had this season as he predicted a defeat against Sheffield United this weekend.
The Baggies come into this game unbeaten in 10 but having drawn nine of those games, a run that has left them seventh in the Championship.
They welcome table-toppers Sheffield United on Sunday [8 December] with the Blades unbeaten in seven.
Prutton was shocked when co-host Simeon Gholam told him of West Brom’s recent form on the Essential EFL podcast [5 December, 14: 47] as he simply said: “Wowsers.”
However, the pundit sees this run come to an end as he went on to say: “Sheffield United are probably going to go there and win, this is what we’re looking at basically aren’t we?
“West Brom outside the top six, a couple points behind Watford, they’ve got work to do.
“Prediction: 2-0 Sheff U.”
West Brom need to start winning
Although a run of 10 games unbeaten is nothing to be disappointed with, the Baggies need to start transforming some of these results into wins otherwise they will start to see other teams jumping above them in the table.
Unfortunately, coming up against the current league leaders may not be the place to do so as United will look to carry on their good form and depending on Saturday’s results, they could go into the game knowing that a win will be needed to keep them top of the Championship after the weekend.

It’s always good to get points on the board and if this one ended in a draw, you can imagine the Baggies would be fairly pleased with that.
However, this must then be used as a springboard to start transforming those single points to three and if Carlos Corberan’s side could do this then they will easily be on their way up the Championship table.
In other West Brom news, the Baggies could make a signing of established attacker from another Championship club.
