Sheffield United star faces retrospective ban after West Brom fan allegations
Sheffield United midfielder Callum O’Hare could face retrospective action from the FA amid allegations made by West Brom supporters, according to Keith Hackett.
O’Hare was on the scoresheet for United in Sunday’s (8 December) eventful 2-2 draw with Albion at The Hawthorns.
In a game that included many positive and negative moments during play, an incident that occurred off-camera was later flagged on social media.
As pointed out by some, O’Hare entered the field of play late on in the game having earlier been substituted off, while he was also seen gesturing to the home fans.
And according to former FIFA referee Hackett, this may now be a matter for the FA to deal with, which could lead to a ban if O’Hare is proved guilty of any offence.
“If this falls into the category of inciting fans, then the ground security would have reported that to the FA to look at and decide,” Hackett exclusively told West Brom News.
Where are West Brom in Championship table?
A rather astonishing 10th draw in their past 11 Championship matches leaves Albion eighth in the table with 19 games played overall.
Carlos Corberan’s men led the way prior to this run of stalemates, so slipping down seven places has left supporters frustrated.
However, at the same time, Opta’s supercomputer has shared a new prediction that should have those fans feeling a little more confident.

Ultimately, drawing against a Sheffield United side likely nailed on for automatic promotion is not a bad result.
Let’s just hope this latest drawing streak comes to an end with victory over Coventry City in midweek.
