Corberan sent ‘unstoppable’ message by Eseosa Sule after what West Brom teen did
Carlos Corberan has plenty of young talent at his disposal in what could be an incredible campaign for West Brom.
Baggies’ young winger Tom Fellows, 21, and Lewis Dobbin, 21, are both getting valuable minutes on the pitch under the Spaniard, with the former playing an incredibly important role so far.
The winger has one goal and seven assists to his name after 20 Championship appearances, most recently netting in the 2-2 draw with Sheffield United on Sunday 8 December.
These are just proof that there is a real route to the first team this season and Eseosa Sule will be hoping he can make the breakthrough after an impressive showing for the Baggies’ Under-21s.
Facing Stratford Town in a Birmingham Senior Cup second-round tie on Tuesday 10 December, Sule was at the centre of attention as he created an “unstoppable” moment in a 4-2 win [Official website].
The 18-year-old centre-forward had already doubled the Baggies’ lead after Harry Whitwell’s opener, adding a third after Dan Lafferty scored for the opposition.
Carlos Corberan to notice Eseosa Sule at West Brom?
With Daryl Dike still injured, Josh Maja has been thriving in the Championship, notching 10 goals in 20 appearances, but Corberan has limited options through the middle.
Devante Cole has failed to make an impact since his summer move from Barnsley, Karlan Grant looks far more comfortable on the left flank, and Dobbin has been slated for some of his performances.
This could be Sule’s opportunity to break into the first team on a regular basis and add to his singular senior appearance, having played 18 minutes in the EFL Cup defeat to Fleetwood Town.

Sule has finally been awarded for all his hard work in the Under-21s team this season, having only notched an assist until his brace against Stratford Town.
The next step would be for Corberan to award him with a spot on the Baggies bench, allowing the youngster to prove himself in the Championship.
