Diangana future at West Brom uncertain after what he did away from The Hawthorns
Grady Diangana has just a few months to decide his future at West Brom after arriving in 2020.
The Baggies signed the 26-year-old on a five-year deal from West Ham United [Sky Sports] and has since made 150 appearances, notching 14 goals and 12 assists in that time.
He has often been looked to as a key member of the squad at The Hawthorns, though that trust and dependency has dwindled during the 2024/25 Championship campaign.
Diangana has just a single goal to his name and has only made five starts in the Championship so far this term, struggling to find any real routine or consistency in the starting XI.
Despite this, he attempted his best to fire the Baggies back into their clash against Derby County on Thursday 26 December, firing home a consolation goal at Pride Park as a second-half substitute.
Grady Diangana to earn new start at West Brom?
With his current contract expiring at the end of the current campaign, Diangana has just a few months to earn himself a new deal at The Hawthorns, that is if he actually wants to.
He has struggled to make an impact under Carlos Corberan in recent months, but with the Spaniard now confirming his move to Spain, there could be time for the player to earn a new deal.
It remains to be seen who could be the next figure to take control of the squad in the Midlands but Diangana may see this opportunity as a new start.

The 26-year-old will, obviously, need to prove himself once a new manager is brought in by Shilen Patel but given his experience and ability on the pitch, it could be an important few months ahead for him.
He notched seven goals and eight assists in 36 appearances last term, proving his importance to the Baggies squad, but displays have been far from ideal so far this season.
