Everton and Crystal Palace want to sign West Brom winger Tom Fellows again this month, according to the Daily Mail.

The newspaper reported in its sports print edition (6 January, pg 10) that the Premier League duo have reignited their interest in the England youth international.

The Baggies have already insisted they don't need to sell Fellows in the winter transfer window and rejected a £10million bid from Southampton in the summer (Steve Hermon, 29 December).

Tom Fellows to leave West Brom?

It's hard to predict any transfer business at The Hawthorns right now, in or out.

Still without a manager after the Christmas exit of Carlos Corberan to Valencia, Shilen Patel and Andrew Nestor are likely prioritising that position, as things stand.

With Raphael Wicky a new surprise favourite to take over at The Hawthorns, things could start to move quickly both on and off the pitch in January for the Albion.

Patel will want to make sure that whoever takes over has the strongest squad possible, so selling Fellows to either Everton or Crystal Palace would make no sense at this stage.

Unless it was a silly bid that was hard to reject, the Baggies hold those cards right now and there is no immediate pressure to sell players again.

Chris Brunt and his makeshift team have kept West Brom in the hunt for the play-offs in the Championship in their interim roles, and keeping the weapons they had for a new manager is critical.
