West Brom are set to open talks with Alex Palmer regarding a new contract, according to talkwba.
The Baggies page reported on their X account (9 January) that the Black Country outfit are looking to offer the goalkeeper a new deal.
Palmer’s current contract expires in the summer of 2026, and The Albion board are delighted with him.
The 28-year-old’s renewal is considered important as he has started in every fixture for the West Midlands club this season.

The Baggies will undoubtedly secure the future of their goalkeeping department if they can agree on fresh terms with the English shot-stopper.
While Palmer has been at the Black Country outfit since 2017, he has only recently been able to secure his spot as the number one in between the sticks.
The Albion have kept 10 clean sheets in the league so far, with the shot-stopper putting in some impressive displays.
At The Hawthorns, West Brom have been solid at the back, having conceded just six goals, and the fans are undoubtedly pleased with the 28-year-old.
