Raphael Wicky bombshell: West Brom end talks immediately
West Brom have immediately ended talks with Raphael Wicky on Monday, according to John Percy.
The Telegraph journalist reported on 13 January the bombshell news that the Swiss national will not become the new manager of the Baggies.
It is said that Wicky was unable to assemble his preferred coaching staff for The Hawthorns, with talks set to continue with other candidates.

This is a real setback for Shilen Patel.
West Brom were said to be finalising the terms for Wicky to be announced over the weekend (Sky Sports), but unless something drastic happens, that won’t be the case.
It is now very interesting to see who could become the preferred candidate of the owners.
Sean Dyche, recently sacked at Everton, became the second favourite for the job in the last 24 hours, with some movement potentially expected there (Bet Victor).
Chris Brunt and his interim team may now be expected to stay in charge for longer than expected, as we return to square one in this manager hunt.
West Brom return to Championship action soon, with Stoke City the visitors to The Hawthorns on Saturday 18 January.
In other West Brom news, the Baggies are keen on signing a “forgotten” man from one of the UK’s biggest clubs this month.
