West Brom set to appoint Tony Mowbray

It has been a lengthy recruitment process in the West Midlands but Albion finally appear to have found the man to replace Carlos Corberan.

After the Spaniard’s departure for Valencia, the Baggies have held talks with the likes of John Heitinga, Raphael Wicky, Urs Fischer and Rene Hake but opted against hiring them.

It appears that the former Albion manager and his vast experience of the Championship has been called on which gives The Hawthorns faithful something to be excited about.

The ex-Celtic boss managed to transform Sunderland into true promotion contenders during his spell there and he will hope to do the same in his second stint in Black Country.
