West Brom in Isaac Price transfer setback as details shared
West Brom have been dealt a transfer setback as they look to gain the services of Isaac Price, according to West Brom Xtra.
The Baggies insider shared via Instagram (21 January) that there has been a hold-up in proceedings on the side of his current club Standard Liege.
This comes after Sacha Tavolieri reported on Monday (20 January) that Albion are set to pay a £2.5million fee including add-ons for the midfielder, who has jetted into the UK.
West Brom want to complete Isaac Price transfer
Tony Mowbray’s return to The Hawthorns has certainly boosted the morale of those who were concerned about the club’s direction following Carlos Corberan’s exit from the Black Country.
Now the 61-year-old seems ready to add to his side in the hope that they can have a strong second half of the campaign and be in the play-off positions come the end of the campaign.
Price could definitely be a good addition to the midfield options at West Brom and provide the Baggies with a bit of extra momentum in the middle of the park to see them through for the rest of the campaign.

The 21-year-old has been a regular in the Belgian League this term, and while there seems to be a slight setback in proceedings, he still looks likely to be a Baggies player soon enough.
Once he has arrived, the key will be to help their efforts as Mowbray looks to get going with his squad.
