Isaac Price set to join West Brom

Although it was reported [West Brom Xtra, 21 January] that there was a hold-up in the transfer due to an issue on the end of the player’s current club Standard Liege, it seems as though this has been ironed out allowing the transfer to go ahead.

Upon his return to The Hawthorns, Tony Mowbray will be looking to make additions to his squad as he hopes to see his side in the play-off positions by the end of the campaign.

The 21-year-old can surely provide a big boost to the Albion midfield in the second half of the campaign, given he is a player who has been playing consistently well for his current club throughout the season so far.

Having been without a manager for some time, Baggies supporters may have been feeling worried about what their transfer window would look like.

However, it seems to be all systems go now Mowbray is in the door as he looks to put his stamp on the squad and put the team in a healthy position to progress.

In other West Brom news, supporters have all said the same thing as Tony Mowbray’s staff were confirmed at The Hawthorns.
