
Ex-West Brom star involved in horror car crash as alleged image emerges
Wrexham defender and former West Brom ace James McClean was involved in a horror car crash on Wednesday.
Alleged images have emerged, via Football Away Days on X, on 22 January showing the Republic of Ireland international’s car on the back of a flatbed truck.
The Red Dragons have since released a statement revealing that no other vehicles were involved in the incident and local authorities were quickly present at the scene.
The ex-Baggies man has reported to training with Wrexham and will undergo further medical checks.

It is always a nervous time when footballers are involved in incidents like this but Albion fans will be pleased to learn that no harm was caused to the versatile wide man.
McClean featured at The Hawthorns for three years where he made over 110 appearances before departing for Championship side Stoke City in 2018.
Despite being a very polarising figure in the footballing world, the 35-year-old is generally well-liked in B71 and as a result has been met with positive messages of support after this accident.
Everyone associated with the Irishman will be pleased to hear that he is safe and hasn’t been harmed in what appears to be a horror car crash.
