West Brom are looking to add to their squad [The Sun] with the deadline rapidly approaching and the Baggies are believed to be ahead of the Clarets who have also expressed an interest in the Scotsman.

West Brom could pull of major coup with Stuart Armstrong deal
The Baggies are well on track to achieve their ultimate goal of a top-six finish this season and the addition of one or two quality players will go a long way towards them doing just that.
Armstrong, having made just shy of 200 English league appearances, has bags of experience and still plenty of quality. Two attributes that will surely aid the Baggies’ push for promotion.
Throughout his career, Armstrong has shown a willingness to play in just about every position and his work ethic will undoubtedly be something Tony Mowbray would be keen to work with.

Since his move to Vancouver in 2024, the Scotsman has featured 11 times across all competitions, registering two goals and two assists.
The very fact that he shares an event with Molumby could provide the Baggies with the upper hand in the race for his signature.
