Tony Mowbray could make two changes to his West Brom starting XI as he takes the Baggies down to Devon to visit Plymouth Argyle.

Albion were superb in their 5-1 hammering of Portsmouth last time out (25 January) but Mowbray appears that confident in his players that he was not shy to make substitutions early in the second half with the game won.

While the Baggies will be wary of a Plymouth side (1 February) who gained a creditable point at Sunderland last weekend, it could also be the ideal chance to increase the competition with a first start for Isaac Price, who impressed off the bench on his debut.

Mowbray could be tempted to start Price for West Brom

It will be intriguing to see how Mowbray plays this one - whether he opts not to fix something that certainly wasn't broken against Pompey last Saturday, or make the odd tweak with several players deserving of their place.

There will be players who deserve to start that won't at Home Park, purely due to the increased options in certain areas of the field - one of those is central midfield, where Price could be tasked with partnering Alex Mowatt. John Swift would likely be the man to come out in this case, having made way for the new signing after an hour last time out.

Jed Wallace joined Swift on the scoresheet against his former side Pompey but may also be sacrificed to bring Karlan Grant back in alongside the blistering Grady Diangana. Mikey Johnston would then reclaim his place on the left-hand side.

Goalkeeper Alex Palmer and the back four are highly likely to remain the same against the league's bottom side, while assist king Tom Fellows will continue as a key outlet on the right.

Mowbray certainly has some players to disappoint this weekend, but will be keen to add further firepower to his squad as Daryl Dike nears a return after almost a year on the sidelines.
