West Brom speak to agent of Leicester striker Daka as Racic exit hint emerges
West Brom have spoken to the representatives of Leicester City striker Patson Daka over a potential move, according to DOOD.
The Albion news insider reported via X (31 January) that Daka is on the list of targets at The Hawthorns and with Tony Mowbray openly on the hunt for a striker before Monday’s deadline, a deal cannot be ruled out.
DOOD has also instructed supporters (31 January) to keep an eye on developments regarding Uros Racic’s loan, which is under debate surrounding ending the midfielder’s spell in England early.
In two separate posts, the news source said: “Daka (Leicester)’s agent spoken to a few days ago.
“Keep an eye on [Racic] soon, Baggies.”
West Brom remain active until Deadline Day
West Brom appear to be well in the mix for both incomings and outgoings at The Hawthorns, all leading into 11pm on Monday (3 February).
Racic has struggled for regular game time in the past few weeks and since arriving from Sassuolo, despite having played 21 times for Albion, has only lasted a full game once – against Cardiff City on 26 October.
Daka is the latest of numerous names bandied around regarding a potential striker arrival. With Josh Maja injured and Daryl Dike needing time after such a long absence to get up to speed, a number nine is a priority.

DOOD reported via X (31 January) that other players’ camps contacted by the Baggies have been those of Jayden Danns, Will Lankshear, Marc Guiu and Elijah Adebayo.
It certainly promises to be a busy final few days of the window, emerging from which fans have everything crossed that their squad will look stronger than this time last month.
In other West Brom news, Albion miss out on their midfield man as he heads to a Championship rival.
