Mowbray makes ‘silly decision’ ahead of West Brom v Plymouth, fans ‘worried’

Tony Mowbray has come under some criticism after he announced his West Brom starting line-up.

After a massive 5-1 win against Portsmouth, the boss has chosen not to make any changes to his team after making the journey down to Plymouth.

However, some supporters have questioned the inclusion of John Swift and whether the formation is the right answer for the Baggies.

West Brom supporters questioning John Swift inclusion

Swift has been a regular part of the Albion side this season making 26 Championship appearances, although only half of those have been in the starting line-up.

Therefore, his inclusion again has led to some supporters labelling the decision as “silly” with fans admitting they are “worried”.

You can understand why Mowbray has chosen to stick with an unchanged team and after such a big win against Portsmouth, it would probably be unfair to drop any of the players.

However, some supporters have been left questioning if the manager has made the right choice and with a long trip down to Plymouth, they will be hoping their team are in top form.

The Pilgrims are having a difficult season and find themselves sitting rock bottom of the table. However, after a 2-2 draw against Sunderland on Saturday (25 January), the hosts will be fighting tooth and nail to get a result.

That being said, Mowbray has a strong squad at Albion and will surely be positive about his side’s chances.
