Chelsea ready to sanction Marc Guiu loan amid West Brom hunt
Chelsea are ready to open the exit door for Marc Guiu ahead of a loan move until the end of the campaign, amid links to West Brom, according to the Sun on Sunday.
The news outlet reported via its print edition (2 February, pg55), that Guiu will be allowed to depart Stamford Bridge on loan amid links to West Brom [DOOD].
Will Lankshear has already been brought to The Hawthorns as the Baggies look to strengthen their attacking options with Guiu remaining a possible incoming.
With just over a day remaining until the 3 February deadline, any movement on Guiu could happen soon with Chelsea eager to get him first-team football.
Marc Guiu would be a coup for West Brom
While the signing of Lankshear has somewhat reduced concerns in the attacking department, more reinforcements are still needed and Guiu would be a perfect fit.
His record in the Conference League has seen him bag six goals in as many appearances with his game still growing and first-team football will only speed up that process.
The Baggies recent defeat to Plymouth showcased the need for further arrivals but if West Brom are to achieve that, they must move fast.

With the transfer window slamming shut at 11pm on 3 February, time is running out for clubs to conclude their winter business and one or two more arrivals could be just what the Baggies need to solidify their status inside the top six.
As it stands, Tony Mowbray’s side sit in sixth, although they would drop out if Middlesbrough avoid defeat when they host Sunderland on deadline day.
In other West Brom news, a transfer request claim has been made after the 2-1 defeat to Plymouth.
