Birmingham finalise deal to sign ex-West Brom star permanently
Birmingham City have completed the permanent signing of former West Brom man Taylor Gardner-Hickman.
The 23-year-old joined the Blues on loan in the summer from Bristol City and has gone on to make 28 appearances in all competitions at St Andrews.
With Chris Davies’ side sitting top of League One, the B9 club have announced (3 February) that the loan deal for the former Baggies ace has now been made permanent.

The third-tier side have impressed so far this campaign, losing just two league games while going unbeaten in their last 17 games in all competitions.
As a result, it makes total sense for the Blues to keep hold of all their best players and tie down their loan players to permanent deals.
This has certainly proved to be the case for Gardner-Hickman who has been a regular in League One, providing one assist so far this season.
This move comes just two years after departing The Hawthorns for Bristol City, where he made 40 appearances but it now appears that he has found a new home.
In other West Brom news, Tony Mowbray has been named as the key after an Adam Armstrong transfer approach was made.
