West Brom accept £10m Tom Fellows bid, he’s on his way for medical
West Brom and Everton have agreed a £10million deal for winger Tom Fellows, according to Alan Nixon.
The Sun journalist reported via his Patreon [3 February] that the 21-year-old has been given permission to travel to Merseyside ahead of having a medical to join David Moyes’ squad.
However, the Toffees are facing a race against time to get the deal done before the 11pm deadline, with Fellows yet to agree personal terms over a move to Goodison Park.
The winger has been heavily linked with an exit from The Hawthorns, with his performances capturing the attention of multiple clubs.
West Brom bracing for Tom Fellows exit
It was only a matter of time before the Baggies lost Fellows to a club higher up in the football pyramid, and it was likely going to be the Toffees given their extended interest in the player.
The 21-year-old has notched two goals and 10 assists in 30 Championship matches this season, becoming an incredibly key figure for Albion, though his contributions have dried up recently.
Having recently become an England Under-21s international, it is no wonder why multiple clubs were keeping tabs on the winger, but it is a shame that his exit is about to come now.
With Josh Maja still sidelined through injury, Fellows leaving just hours before the transfer window slams shut will be a huge blow for Tony Mowbray and the team but it is a huge price tag.

The Baggies will be able to reinvest that money in the summer, but with a Championship play-off spot currently on the line this season, the transfer is not the best timing for the club.
It is not the kind of money that Albion can afford to turn down, but had they waited until the summer, they may have been able to squeeze a bigger transfer fee for their star winger.
