“An initial fee of £2m with that potentially rising in excess of £4m with the add-ons.”

West Brom ace Alex Palmer to undergo Ipswich Town medical

The Albion shot-stopper has been one of the best and most consistent players at the Hawthorns in recent years and will be sorely missed.

As a result, It won’t come as a surprise that Premier League sides would be interested in securing his signature but it does come as a blow.

With it being so late in the winter window and the deadline just hours away, the Baggies have limited time to find a replacement.

Regardless of this, it appears that a deal is likely to go through with the Tractor Boys after Palmer completes his medical tests.
