Andrew Nestor loves what Tony Brown did after West Brom winner v Sheffield Wednesday

Tony Brown cut an ecstatic figure after Jayson Molumby grabbed a late winner for West Brom in their 2-1 Championship victory over Sheffield Wednesday on Saturday and even Andrew Nestor loved it.

Tony Mowbray’s side beat the Owls at The Hawthorns in what was a dramatic Championship encounter on 8 February.

Callum Patterson equalised for Wednesday in added time to Adam Armstrong’s dismay as he thought he had scored the winner for Albion on his debut.

The Baggies eventually had the last laugh as Molumby flicked a low cross from a corner into the back of the net, although Kyle Bartley was sent off later.

Tony Brown goes berserk live on air

Molumby got the entire Hawthorns of their seats as he reeled away in celebration after netting the winner, taking his shirt off and roaring at the fans.

Meanwhile, Brown, was on commentary duty alongside Steve Hermon on BBC Radio WM, could not contain his excitement, shouting and screaming, as the ball went into the back of the net.

He’s getting booked for taking his shirt off, but does he care? Does any of these Albions care? No!”, he said live on air.

Hermon later shared a clip of Bomber’s best bits from Saturday’s game via X, with Nestor responding to it himself.

“Love it”, the sporting director wrote via X (8 February).

Andrew Nestor, a pleased man at West Brom

West Brom fans will still be bouncing, thinking about Saturday’s result and the manner in which it was achieved.

Meanwhile, Nestor will be pleased with himself as Armstrong netted the opener for Mowbray’s side against Sheffield Wednesday.

Armstrong was one of the four players Albion signed in what was Nestor’s first full transfer window as their sporting director.

Apart from the Southampton loanee, Isaac Price was also named in the starting line-up to face the Owls, while Will Lankshear made an appearance off the bench.

Tammer Bany was the only winter signing not to feature in the dramatic win, but it is only a matter of time before he makes his Baggies debut as well.

Meanwhile, it was a pleasure to hear Brown scream at the top of his lungs live on air as Molumby grabbed the winner at The Hawthorns.

One can only hope that Mowbray and Co can create more such moments between now and the end of the season.
