Daryl Dike must impress Tony Mowbray on West Brom U21 return

There is now high levels of attacking influence at The Hawthorns right now after a busy end to the winter transfer window.

Adam Armstrong came in from Southampton alongside Will Lankshear from Tottenham, who will both want regular minutes while on loan in B71.

The competition in the Black Country will only increase when Josh Maja returns from injury who will also be hopeful of reclaiming his role in the starting 11.

This could make life difficult for the returning Dike who hasn’t played a competitive match for 12 months and is heavily injury prone.

The American needs to show what qualities he can add to the Baggies’ first team against Newcastle U21s, especially if Mowbray is in attendance at the clash.
