Mowbray needs to continue winning run v Burnley
The Hawthorns faithful hope for Premier League promotion soon, but it remains to be seen whether the Baggies will be able to get into the play-offs spots.
While Burnley have been brilliant at Turf Moor, the Albion need to find a way to get the better of them.
Bartley has been a cornerstone of the West Midlands outfit’s defence this season, and it’s surprising to see him being left out of the team.
Diakite is a capable player, but it remains to be seen how the 24-year-old defensive midfielder will perform alongside Torbjorn Heggem.
Adam Armstrong scored against QPR, and fans will hope the Southampton loanee can continue his goalscoring run against Scott Parker’s team, with a permanent transfer potentially on the card next summer.
Tom Fellows has been an influential player at the Baggies this season, and his absence doesn’t make sense either, considering how strong Burnley have been defensively this season.
The Baggies don’t have the luxury to drop points with several teams close to them vying for sixth place in the Championship.
Mowbray will hope his changes will have a positive impact at Turf Moor because failure will lead to scrutiny from fans.
