Tom Fellows ‘shame’ emerges at West Brom after latest announcement
Tom Fellows may be disappointed at West Brom after the England Under-21 national team’s latest announcement.
The 21-year-old has been one of the best players at the Baggies this season, racking up several goal contributions for them.
Fellows has become a favourite at The Hawthorns and has been a key player in the West Midlands outfit’s push for a play-offs spots.
Tony Mowbray’s team are fifth in the Championship, and despite the English midfielder being influential in their push for promotion in the current campaign, he will arguably be frustrated at the latest international announcement.

West Brom star Fellows not included in England Under-21 squad
Fellows hasn’t been included in England’s Under-21 squad for the upcoming international break.
Lee Carsley has revealed his list of players for the Young Lions, but it doesn’t include the Baggies’ midfielder despite his impressive displays this season.
Competition | Appearances | Goals | Assists |
Championship | 36 | 2 | 11 |
The 21-year-old is the joint leader on the assists board in the Championship in the current campaign, but he won’t feature for the youth national team in March, who will play one of their games at The Hawthorns.
Express & Star journalist Lewis Cox wrote on X (14 March): “No place for Fellows in the England Under-21 squad for games, including one at The Hawthorns. A shame for him.”

Carsley to give Fellows England opportunities soon
Fellows didn’t feature for West Brom as they drew 1-1 against Burnley at Turf Moor in the league on 11 March.
Mowbray was unable to call on the 21-year-old against Scott Parker’s team, but fans will hope he will feature at The Hawthorns when Hull City visit on Saturday (15 March).
The race for the play-offs spots in the Championship is heating up with only four points separating the Albion and 10th-placed Watford.
Fellows will undoubtedly be essential if the Black Country club have any chances of securing their place in the Premier League.
After the Englishman’s performances this season, it isn’t surprising to see teams like Everton being interested in signing the 21-year-old.
Carsley will definitely give Fellows a call-up sooner rather than later if he continues to display his qualities and gets a move to a team like the Toffees in the coming future.
While the 21-year-old would seemingly be frustrated with failing to get into the England Under-21 squad this time out, his time will undoubtedly come.
