Kieran Maguire wowed by West Brom amid season ticket development

West Brom have released their season ticket prices for the upcoming season.

The Baggies have told fans how much they will be expected to pay for their seat, regardless of the division for the new campaign.

This comes with Tony Mowbray and his side in the hunt for a playoff spot, currently sitting in sixth place and level with seventh-placed Bristol City

Maguire gushes over West Brom season ticket prices

Under both Mowbray and Carlos Corberan, the Baggies have continued to fight towards the top end of the Championship table.

This could ultimately end in promotion if things go right for the B71 club and they can have a successful run through the playoffs.

Even with a draw against Hull City, this is entirely possible, but that hasn’t stopped The Hawthorns hierarchy from offering some of the best value-for-money tickets in English football.

This hasn’t been wasted on finance expert Maguire who has piled praise on Albion for their work on The Price Of Football podcast (18 March).

He said: “I think you’ve got to look at the demographics of the West Midlands, it’s not the most wealthy part of the country and I think the club is wise enough to price accordingly.

“As far as 25/26 is concerned, you will be able to get a season ticket if you are one of the early bird fans for £419, regardless of the division they are playing in. If the worst happens and West Brom remains in the Championship, that’s going to work out at £18.22 per match which I think is fantastic value.

“Under 14s season ticket, 23 quid. Pound a match, absolutely fantastic. Hats off to them, this is superb. The Hawthorns has a capacity of just under 27,000 and the average is just under 25,000. I do think West Brom have got this close to spot on.”

West Brom fans need to build Hawthorns atmosphere

It is fair to say that the Albion supporters are subjected to some of the best prices in the entire football league, given the quality on show.

This has helped to build large attendances on a weekly basis which can only be seen as a good thing while on the hunt for promotion.

With that being said, the general atmosphere around The Hawthorns has typically been poor which has left many supporters frustrated.

Against Hull City, there was a general hush over the ground which didn’t help contribute towards a positive result in an important clash.

If that can be changed in the coming weeks, the fans may be able to contribute and spur their players towards a push towards promotion under Mowbray.
