Norwich City v West Brom result predicted by supercomputer
West Brom return to Championship action this weekend, with an away trip to Norwich City.
Tony Mowbray’s side remain in with a good chance of securing a play spot at the end of the campaign, though consistency will be key to that success.
West Brom are unbeaten in their last four Championship encounters, though they have only tasted victory on one occasion, with their latest 1-1 draw against Hull City being the third time that scoreline has occurred in that time period.
However, with Norwich City playing host on Saturday, the Baggies have a good chance to extend that unbeaten run, and bolster their hopes of finishing in the top six.

West Brom need to turn draws into wins
Throughout the current campaign, West Brom have been very difficult to beat, but the lack of firepower has seen them draw a remarkable 18 times this season.
While Mowbray’s side currently sit in the top six, a failure to address that could prove costly from the end of the season.
However, according to the latest Opta supercomputer prediction, that is unlikely to be rectified this weekend ahead of their trip to Carrow Road.
Championship (4th-8th) | Points | Goal difference |
Sunderland | 69 | 18 |
Coventry | 59 | 7 |
West Brom | 57 | 14 |
Bristol City | 57 | 8 |
Middlesbrough | 54 | 9 |
West Brom have just a 34.4 per cent chance of taking all three points from the Canaries, while the hosts are marginally more likely to win the game with a 39 per cent chance of doing so.
A draw remains the most likely outcome with a 26.5 per cent chance, and if that were to be the case, there is a chance that West Brom would drop out of the top six.

Mowbray needs to turn West Brom into a winning team
With eight games to go in the Championship, form and momentum will be key to any potential success, and Mowbray will need to find a way to make that happen.
A lack of consistency has been the main downfall for his side this season, and unless rectified, it could prevent West Brom from achieving a playoff finish.
Given their results against the teams in the top four, the Baggies would have a genuine good chance of achieving promotion if a top-six finish were to come to fruition, though plenty of work will need to be done to make that happen.
