West Brom new valuation shared amid staggering Jeremy Peace comparison
West Brom have only recently steadied the ship at The Hawthorns after getting into boiling water with PSR restrictions.
Shilen Patel is continuing his mission of trying to steady the ship but the latest financial details coming out of the Black Country showed that West Brom have made losses again.
Bilkul Football are trying to reduce the debt at Albion and in doing so, have offered existing shareholders the opportunity to either hold, buy or sell their shares.

West Brom valuation revealed
The Baggies are currently seeking promotion to the Premier League via the play-offs under the management of Tony Mowbray.
West Brom sit sixth in the table but it is tight at the top of the Championship, meaning there is plenty of work still to be done.
Team | Position | Goal Difference | Points |
West Brom | 6th | 13 | 57 |
Middlesborough | 7th | 10 | 57 |
Bristol City | 8th | 7 | 57 |
Nevertheless, those higher up at The Hawthorns are clearly trying to get the club in good shape to give the best chances at both promotion and then survival in the top flight.
The latest offer from Bilkul to the shareholders was announced at a price of £1210.58 per share, which journalist Chris Lepkowski shared via X (2 April) values West Brom at around £23.3million.
Lepkowski shared a comparison to Albion under the ownership of Jeremy Peace as he wrote: “When Jeremy Peace pushed through the consolidated share restructure in the early 2010s, he valued those shares at £80 – effectively making club worth £7million. He sold for £210million (some say more) in 2016.”
West Brom set sights on Premier League riches
West Brom are not in a position where they need to be worried about being sold anytime soon, but if they were to be, the current valuation on this basis seems quite fair.
Furthermore, it’s certainly a reflection of how the Baggies are making moves in the right direction under the current ownership and looking towards brighter times.
Mowbray got off to a slow start since his return to the Black Country earlier in the season, but the Baggies do still remain in a top-six position.
A 1-0 loss against Norwich City on Saturday was not enough to knock Albion from their play-off spot ,but will have served as a reminder that with plenty of football still to play, anything could happen.
With West Brom level on points with both Middlesbrough and Bristol City who sit below them, Mowbray will be eager for his side to keep their standards high and continue the progress at The Hawthorns on the pitch.
