Burnley tipped to sign West Brom star as they go top of Championship
West Brom could be set to lose players in the summer transfer window if they fail to achieve their aim of promotion to the Premier League.
A 1-0 defeat against Sunderland on Saturday (5 April) has seen the Baggies slip to eighth in the Championship, three points away from the play-off spots.
As a result, there is already speculation surrounding what the future could hold for certain players at The Hawthorns.

Lee Hendrie backs Burnley to sign West Brom man
One man whose future definitely needs addressing is Grady Diangana, as his contract in the Black Country expires at the end of the season.
Although attempts have been made, a new deal between the two parties is yet to be agreed which could mean the pair part ways at the end of the campaign.
Injuries have had their part to play in the 26-year-old’s season and he has failed to reach the usual levels that would be expected of him.

Therefore, it has been suggested that a move away from Albion may be what he needs to get back on track going forward.
It was reported that Burnley had an interest in Diangana’s services back in the winter transfer window although the attacking midfielder turned down the opportunity.
However, Lee Hendrie has urged the Clarets to make a move again as they look towards the Premier League after moving to the top of the Championship table at the weekend.
Speaking to Football League World (5 April), Hendrie said: “I think he suits the Burnley style. They play with out-and-out wingers, with exciting wide players who are given that licence to stay high up the pitch and cause teams problems, and that’s what Diangana definitely has in his locker.
“We haven’t seen an awful lot of that over the seasons, and do you put that down to the style of play that West Brom set up? Does it suit his style of play?
“I know he’s got stacks of ability, but it might be that he has to turn his head the other way and try something different to get Grady Diangana back to what he can do. It might just work at Burnley, so it wouldn’t surprise me if that does happen.”

Diangana could exit West Brom
Given the difficulties faced this season, it wouldn’t be a massive surprise if Diangana did part ways with West Brom at the end of the season to seek a new challenge.
The DR Congo international has shown plenty of talent across his time with the Baggies but he also hasn’t necessarily done enough on a consistent basis to make him a player that could be a core part of a promotion-pushing squad.
With that in mind, it is questionable whether Burnley would make a choice to go in for Diangana if the Clarets gain promotion to the Premier League.
Scott Parker’s side are just one point clear at the top of the table as it stands so there is a way to go but if they are promoted, the current Baggies player doesn’t scream out as being someone who would assist the squad in the top flight, given he has just one goal in the Premier League.
What the future holds will likely depend largely on how the season ends for all parties with both West Brom and Burnley having a shot of achieving promotion to the top flight.
Nevertheless, this does feel like it could be the time for the 26-year-old to seek a new challenge, whether that would come in the Premier League is still unknown.
