West Brom prediction v Bristol City shocking as baffling claim emerges — ‘Wow’
West Brom have seen their prospects in the Championship dwindle as they face Bristol City away from The Hawthorns on Tuesday.
Ashton Gate will host Tony Mowbray’s team on 8 April as the visitors look to bounce back from their recent defeats.
Tony Mowbray’s team were beaten by Sunderland at The Hawthorns on Saturday (5 April), with Trai Hume scoring the only goal of the game.
The Baggies now find themselves eighth in the league table, three points behind the Robins, making the upcoming fixture pivotal.

Bristol loss v West Brom predicted at Ashton Gate
Mowbray’s team will beat Bristol at Ashton Gate on Tuesday, Sam Parkin says.
The former Swindon Town ace has predicted the Albion to win against Liam Manning’s team despite the hosts losing only once in their last 12 home matches.
Championship table (2024/25) | Points |
5. Middlesbrough | 60 |
6. Bristol | 60 |
7. Coventry City | 59 |
8. West Brom | 57 |
Parkin’s believes the West Midlands club will be the second team after Swansea in recent matches to get a win away from home against the Robins.
Speaking on Benjamin Bloom’s YouTube channel, the ex-forward said: “I’m going to go for it to be ripped up. I’m going to go for West Brom to win at Bristol City.
Bloom responded: “Wow.”
Parkin continued: “Swansea won at Bristol. The only time anyone’s been victorious there. But I’m going for West Brom to be the next team.”
Mowbray needs win to turn the tide at The Hawthorns
Mowbray should make changes against Bristol after some players put in abysmal displays against Sunderland.
The English manager was expected to make progress on Caros Corberan’s good work at The Hawthorns, but he has struggled so far.
Having made the Championship play-offs last season, it would be disappointing to see the Baggies miss out this time around.
West Brom fans are already calling for Mowbray’s sacking after losing to the Black Cats, and it wouldn’t be surprising to see the former Birmingham City head coach depart before the end of the campaign if results worsen.
With just six games to go in the Championship, the Black Country outfit can’t falter against Bristol and need the three points to close the gap with the top six.
Goalscoring has been a significant issue for the Baggies throughout this season, and it will be interesting to see what the English manager does for the trip to Ashton Gate.
The Hawthorns faithful are already starting to lose patience with Mowbray, and another loss will mount further pressure on him.
Manning’s team will be confident to get the three points at home, though, considering the lack of confidence among the Albion after losing to Norwich City and Sunderland.
