Tony Mowbray told to ‘walk away’ from West Brom after Bristol City defeat
West Brom fans have had enough of their side underperforming, with many calling for Tony Mowbray to be sacked.
West Brom still have hopes of achieving a play off place come the end of the season, though their drop in form has made that seem almost impossible.
Their latest defeat to Bristol City was their third in a row, and their fifth without a win dating back to their 1-0 victory over relegation-threatened QPR in March.
In fact, since Mowbray returned to The Hawthorns, the Baggies have won just four out of a possible 14, showcasing the drop off since Carlos Corberan’s departure.

West Brom fans want rid of Mowbray
Despite Albion still being in with a chance of securing a top six finish, supporters have had enough of the lacklustre displays on the pitch, with an overwhelming number of fans calling for Mowbray to face the sack.
West Brom find themselves eighth in the Championship, and three points outside of the play-off places, making it seem almost impossible task to finish inside the top six.
It’s not worked out, for the sake of your health Tony walk away, it’s only a game.

Painfully clueless. Out of his depth and blames everyone but himself.

He looks a broken man. He needs to quit now for his mental wellbeing. After all he’s gone through he doesn’t need this.

Sad to see TM looking like this.

Needs to walk away at the end of the season for his own sake and that of his family. It’s not worth it Tony. Go enjoy retirement.
PS
Moloumby is an average player, a liability, but mostly an idiot.

What about the fact that you chose the wrong team to start and that’s why we were non existent in the first half. This result is down to you Tony and Molumby’s stupidity !!

Mowbray must be given the remainder of the season
With five games left to be played, it seems nonsensical for West Brom to sack Mowbray, when the possibility of a playoff place remains.
Regardless of how likely that is, changing managers at this point in the season would be pointless and would almost certainly eradicate any possibility of achieving that success.
Championship | Played | GD | Points |
6. Middlesbrough | 41 | +11 | 60 |
7. Coventry | 41 | +4 | 59 |
8. West Brom | 41 | +11 | 57 |
However, should the Baggies fail in their playoff push, then there is every chance that Mowbray will face the sack, leaving West Brom in the same situation they were in when Corberan left to join Valencia.
As for now, the only focus will be on improving the performances and trying to get the results on the pitch with a return to the Premier League still on the cards if West Brom can achieve that.
