West Brom injury news: Jed Wallace return update emerges
West Brom captain Jed Wallace appears to be ruled out with a Grade 3 calf injury, according to Dr Rajpal Brar.
The injury expert claims that he still appears to be some way away from being back at 100 per cent.
The 31-year-old has not featured for the Baggies since the 1-1 draw against Millwall on 15 February.

Wallace may not be back to full fitness before the season ends
The Baggies attacker has been a bit-part player this season, playing 26 league games but making just five starts.
While he may be ready to make appearances off the bench in the coming weeks, he might not be fit enough for starts in consecutive games.
Reacting to his situation, injury expert Dr Brar – who is a physical therapy specialist and sports scientist – has told West Brom News: “He has been out for several weeks, over two months now.
Championship table (4th-7th) | Games played | Goal difference | Points |
4 Sunderland | 42 | 19 | 76 |
5 Bristol City | 42 | 9 | 64 |
6 Coventry | 41 | 5 | 62 |
7 West Brom | 42 | 12 | 60 |
“I reckon this is a Grade 3 calf injury.
“He still seems weeks away from being at full fitness and that may not happen before the end of the season.
“Wallace is expected to be in individual training and the physios will soon look to ramp up his training drills.“

West Brom must be careful with Wallace’s return from injury
West Brom must manage Wallace’s return from a two-month injury layoff with caution to avoid re-injury.
The 31-year-old, crucial for his creativity and leadership, has been sidelined since early February, likely weakening his match fitness and muscle resilience.
Rushing him back risks aggravating the injury, potentially extending his absence and denting West Brom’s promotion push.
A gradual reintegration, with limited minutes off the bench initially, allows Wallace to rebuild stamina and sharpness while minimiSing strain.
Monitoring his game time, alongside tailored training, ensures he regains form without overloading his body.
Careful management preserves Wallace’s impact for the season’s critical phase, keeping the Baggies competitive in the Championship.
