Mowbray ‘to lead West Brom summer rebuild’ as new Fellows update shared
Tony Mowbray will be backed to lead a squad overhaul at West Brom this summer as he attempts to take the Baggies forward.
The West Midlands side are currently pushing to be involved in the Championship playoffs come the end of the season in a bid to make a Premier League return.
However, their efforts to make a late surge back into the top six were dealt a blow when they lost 2-0 to Coventry City on Friday, with Frank Lampard’s men also attempting to earn a playoff spot.
The Baggies failed to get a single shot on target throughout the game, in what was a disappointing performance that has left their hopes of promotion in tatters.
Mowbray’s men are eighth in the Championship at the moment and sit six points away from the playoff positions with just three games remaining.

Tom Fellows update shared at West Brom
Tom Fellows has been an important part of West Brom’s squad this season, and that has led to plenty of interest in him from further afield.
According to EFL Analysis (20 April), Fellows is set to leave The Hawthorns during the summer transfer window following strong interest from Everton.
Fellows is likely to make the jump to the Premier League regardless of what West Brom achieve this season, but that’s something that will leave the Baggies significantly weaker.
Everton attempted to buy Fellows in the January transfer window in a £10million deal, but nothing was agreed between the two teams.

However, the expectation is that he will go unless West Brom manage to stay up, but selling him will benefit the Baggies from a PSR perspective.

Mowbray will invest in the team
Losing Fellows will be an obvious blow to the Baggies, but the positive for fans is that the majority of the money gained from his sale is expected to be reinvested into the squad.
The same report indicates that Mowbray is set to be at the helm of West Brom once again for next season, and he is set to have some money to invest in his team.
West Brom will be looking to make a few quality additions to try and enhance the squad so that they will be in a stronger position to make a surge for promotion next season.
