West Brom told to hire Daniel Farke after shock Leeds sack news – ‘No 1 target’
West Brom are searching for a new manager and Daniel Farke could be amongst the contenders.
The Baggies sacked Tony Mowbray after their hopes of reaching the playoffs were ended after the defeat to Derby County on Easter Monday.
Albion on now looking for their third manager of the season after the 61-year-old departed after a grim three-month spell in the dugout.
Farke could be a leading contender after the latest update on his future at Leeds United.

Farke bombshell emerges from Leeds
Farke has just taken the Whites back into the Premier League after a two-year absence, however, the Elland Road outfit could sack him in a surprising move.
A report from the Daily Mail (23 April) claimed that the Yorkshire team are considering replacing the former Norwich manager amid concerns over his poor top-flight record.
Stats (Premier League) | Played | Won | Drawn | Lost |
Farke | 49 | 6 | 8 | 35 |
His record in the Championship is brilliant, he has taken the Peacocks to over the 90-point mark twice and has secured promotion on two separate occasions, once with each club.

West Brom fans want Farke to replace Mowbray
While Farke’s record among the elite is dismal, his second-tier status is beyond doubt, he has proven that he can take a team to the promised land multiple times.
If the Baggies have ambitions of getting back into the big time, they must seriously consider a move for the German, if Leeds decide to part ways with their promotion-winning boss.
Supporters would be on board as they are desperate to regain their Premier League status and Farke has proved his credentials already.

Rosenior (Norfolk in chance)
Dyche

With his championship record, I’d take him. Hate to say it, but with his premier record I can see why Leeds are thinking of getting rid.

One thing is for sure, the Hawthorns outfit need to get their next appointment right, they cannot afford to make the wrong decision again, like they did with Mowbray.
They need a manager who can take them to the next level and Farke would be that guy, the situation is one to keep an eye on but they surely will not be the only team that is interested.
Shilen Patel has proved that he is not afraid to make tough decisions, his next one could be a masterstroke, if he can pull it off.
