James Morrison to axe Lankshear in first West Brom predicted XI v Cardiff
James Morrison will be looking to stamp his own authority at West Brom and could make as many as four changes against Cardiff.
West Brom’s playoff hopes are looking dull, but until mathematically impossible, the Baggies will fight until the very last whistle of the season.
With that said, it is the lack of fight in recent weeks which ultimately led to the sacking of Tony Mowbray after what had been a dismal three months in charge.
However, before any managerial appointment is made, the Baggies have two games to attend to, and Morrison could make several changes, and potentially stake a claim for his appointment in the future.

Kyle Bartley to be axed for West Brom v Cardiff
Josh Griffiths is likely to retain his place in goal, having rarely put a foot wrong since his return to West Brom, with one change expected ahead of him.
Callum Styles will return to the squad having served his suspension for his sending off against Coventry, and he could start on the left of defence with Darnell Furlong on the opposite side.
Kyle Bartley could make way for the return of Styles, which would see Torbjorn Heggem move into the heart of defence alongside Mason Holgate.
Into the midfield, Morrison could drop both Grady Diangana and Ousmane Diakite in favour of a midfield partnership of Isaac Price and Jayson Molumby, with the latter due back from his three-game suspension.

West Brom’s playoff hopes are fading away
Tom Fellows has been the shining light in an otherwise dull season for Albion, and his place in the team could be cemented, with Mikey Johnston potentially set to operate on the opposite flank.
Will Lankshear’s loan from Tottenham has been very underwhelming, and his performance against Derby will have done little to satisfy Morrison, who may look to axe the striker in favour of Adam Armstrong, who netted in the clash at The Hawthorns.
Alongside him could be Karlan Grant, rounding off a West Brom side that should be more than capable of securing all three points against Cardiff.
