Jamie Vardy new club: West Brom in shock running
West Brom have been thrown into the mix as a potential landing spot for Jamie Vardy.
The veteran striker announced that he would leave Leicester City at the end of the season, which has left many clubs on notice ahead of the summer transfer window.
The Baggies are in desperate need of attacking reinforcements with injury concerns surrounding Daryl Dike and Josh Maja and loanees Will Lankshear and Adam Armstrong set to leave.

Vardy emerges as potential West Brom signing
Tony Mowbray will rue his attackers’ prolificacy in front of goal after he was sacked in April after a run of results that left Albion out of playoff contention.
If they are to get back to the Premier League, the West Midlands outfit needs a reliable goalscorer and Vardy would be exactly that, given that he struck 18 goals in the Championship last season.
The former England international is 20/1 to join the Throstles with Bet Victor but they face significant competition for his services.
Wrexham currently lead the market at odds of 7/4, followed by Sheffield Wednesday at 4/1, any Scottish or MLS club at 8/1 and Sheffield United and Leeds ranked at 16/1.

West Brom could thrive with Vardy
Baggies supporters would be thrilled to see Vardy in their shirt rather than on the opposing side as he has an excellent record against the Black Country club.
The 38-year-old has notched eight goals and two assists in 11 matches against Albion, including six strikes at The Hawthorns.

He may be advancing in age, but he could still do a job in the second tier and would be a great mentor to the young players in the squad and the academy, given his experience and leadership skills.
His story would resonate with supporters, as he went from non-league to a Premier League winner in such a short space of time and maybe he can end his career by getting the Baggies back to the promised land.
It remains to be seen whether a deal can be reached and it would be hard given the number of teams that are interested in the forward but if it happens, it would be a very exciting addition.
