Kyle Bartley may have waved goodbye to West Brom fans, second farewell expected

West Brom finally finished the season with a bang against Luton at The Hawthorns, after weeks of torment and rubbish on the pitch.

James Morrison watched on as Tom Fellows, Callum Styles, and Daryl Dike found the back of the net in a 5-3 win to send the Hatters to League One.

With a new manager at the top of the list, plenty of those in the squad are playing for their futures too, with Grady Diangana already set for the exit.

West Brom exits pile up

Kyle Bartley had recently triggered a contract extension, but it looked as though he was waving goodbye to the fans as he went off injured against Luton.

Lewis Cox had shared updates from the game, with the Express and Star journalist saying that Bartley’s replacement, Semi Ajayi, was set for his expected farewell.

Fans reacted to Bartley leaving the field, saying it looks as though he will join a long list to leave.

Morrison to push for West Brom job

Shilen Patel likely won’t be thinking about players in his main role, with a new manager top of the list for everyone at The Hawthorns.

Following Carlos Corberan proved far too much for Tony Mowbray, who was dismissed and proved most likely what West Brom don’t need from next season.

The likes of Bartley, Ajayi and Diangana have been there and done it before at The Hawthorns, but times have changed, and a different direction is needed.

Not only will they possibly leave, but they should leave big wages behind as well, which could open the door to bigger and better signings compared to recent years.

Three more West Brom players who could leave

With the likes of Furlong also potentially on the way out, there are huge changes across the board expected for another push at the Premier League.

Many West Brom fans would likely prefer Bartley to be on that list of departures, with a completely new dawn needed if promotion is going to be possible.
