West Brom fans instantly mock Mowbray after what Daryl Dike did v Luton
Daryl Dike has had an underwhelming season for West Brom.
The American striker has featured just 11 times in the Championship this season as injuries have taken their toll.
Tony Mowbray was attempting to bring him back into action slowly from his long-term Achilles problem but he was never fit enough to be a viable option before the 61-year-old was sacked.
Dike has featured for just 56 minutes in the Baggies last three matches but he started the clash with Luton Town on 3 May.

Dike impresses in rare West Brom start
The former Barnsley star proved why he is so highly-rated at The Hawthorns when he is fit and available to play.
The 24-year-old notched the second goal for Albion with a header from close range, his first strike of the season in the league.
He then bagged an assist for Tom Fellows‘ second strike of the contest that put the Black Country club into a 3-1 lead.

West Brom have Dike dilemma
When the United States international is fit, he is a very dangerous attacker and can be the difference maker for the West Midlands outfit in their pursuit of the play-offs.
However, he has constantly struggled to be available since his move in 2021, making just 43 appearances across four seasons, which does not bode well.
Mowbray questioned whether he could even play 30 minutes in the days before he was handed his marching orders and supporters mocked their former boss after Dike’s performance.
The two-cap star will hope that he can kick on and stay injury-free and help the Baggies to secure a promotion berth next season but it seems like a very unlikely prospect given his history.
His future in West Bromwich is unclear, the club could very well decide to move on from the injury-prone ace despite his talent being evident, as he is never available.
His latest showing suggests that he can still perform in the second-tier but he needs to prove his fitness if he is to have a future with the promotion hopefuls beyond the end of the season.
If they are to secure a Premier League return for the first time since the 2020/21 campaign, they need to keep Dike fit and firing as their other attacking options are not up to scratch.
