Tom Fellows exit: £10m Southampton transfer claim emerges after West Brom win
West Brom ended the season on a high with a 5-3 win against Luton Town on the final day of the season.
West Brom’s campaign as a whole turned out to be a disappointing one for the Baggies as the play-offs proved to be a step too far under the management of Tony Mowbray.
The summer transfer window now leaves plenty to be desired, with several players linked with exits away from The Hawthorns.
In fact, supporters will be hoping that Tom Fellows’ two goals against Luton were not his way of saying goodbye to the Black Country.

Fellows transfer claim emerges ahead of summer transfer window
Fellows has been in impressive form throughout the season so far and, as a result, has gained admiration ahead of the summer.
Everton were keen on striking a deal for the 21-year-old’s services back in the winter transfer window and although no deal came to fruition, David Moyes is said to remain keen.

It’s not just the Toffees who are eyeing up one of the starmen at The Hawthorns, as interest is seemingly incoming from the second tier too.
According to the Sunday Mirror (4 May, page 11 of pull-out), Southampton have also shown an interest in the winger.
The report states that Fellows is valued at £10million, giving Albion a good understanding of what they can expect if they do cash in this summer.

West Brom have key decisions to make
After Mowbray’s departure as boss, Shilen Patel now has the crucial decision of appointing a new manager ahead of next season.
The chief has certainly earned himself some credit, given the way he has stabilised things at The Hawthorns, but this appointment has to be the right one now.
Mowbray wasn’t a rushed decision, but it was one that failed to align with where the club were trying to go on the pitch and proved to be too much of a change from Carlos Corberan.
Therefore, getting the decision right at this stage gives the Baggies a much stronger chance of starting next season on a strong foot and pushing ahead to the top of the table once more.
Although a Premier League move would surely be a tempting prospect for Fellows, a move to Southampton, who are going to be playing in the Championship too, may not be as inspiring.
However, a decision could well rest on the other choices made in the Black Country this summer and a strong managerial appointment for West Brom could change everything.
