Birmingham City ‘hold serious interest’ in Fellows as West Brom bids update shared
West Brom star Tom Fellows has been linked with a move to Birmingham City after shining for the Baggies this term.
Even though the Baggies missed out on a play-off spot, Fellows established himself as one of the best players in the Championship and was the second tier’s joint-top assist maker alongside Portsmouth’s Josh Murphy.
Fellows has excelled for West Brom this term, and it is no surprise that his services have attracted suitors in the transfer market.
But Baggies supporters will not be pleased that West Midlands rivals Birmingham City, who have just been promoted back to the Championship from League One, have been linked with 21-year-old Fellows.

West Brom asking price revealed amid Birmingham interest in Fellows
Fellows stood out in West Brom’s final-day victory against Luton, notching two goals and an assist as the Baggies won 5-3.
Providing an update on Fellows’ future, Albion insider Dood shared via X (6 May) that Birmingham do indeed hold an interest in the youngster, but no bids have yet been lodged from any side.
“Blues do hold a genuine interest in Fellows, but currently no bids at all from them,” he said. “WBA want around £15/20million.”
West Brom would be gutted to lose Fellows to Birmingham
Baggies academy graduate Fellows has shone at The Hawthorns this season, scoring four goals and creating 14 assists in 45 Championship outings.

Albion would be gutted to lose his increasingly quality services, even if they can acquire a handsome transfer fee of £20m.
But while the likes of Southampton are interested in the England Under-21s international, West Brom would be even more gutted to lose Fellows to local rivals Birmingham, who have spent the season in League One.
Furthermore, losing one of the Championship’s best creative talents to a newly promoted side would usually be an unthinkable scenario.
However, Birmingham are a different proposition to most sides who have won promotion from the third tier, thanks to the financial backing of Knighthead Capital Management.
Last summer, Blues smashed the League One transfer record to buy former Fulham striker Jay Stansfield, so it is not difficult to envisage Chris Davies’ men spending a hefty transfer sum on a gifted player such as Fellows.
