John Mousinho development may spark major concern at West Brom
West Brom remain in the hunt for a new manager, having sacked Tony Mowbray last month.
With the Championship season now concluded, and another season in the second-tier confirmed for West Brom, attention will turn to the summer for those behind the scenes at The Hawthorns.
After the disappointment of missing out on a play-off spot, Albion have a remarkable amount of work to do, though plans will be put on hold until the search for a manager draws to a close.
Several managers have been linked with the West Brom job, and the latest update on John Mousinho will undoubtedly spark some major concerns.

West Brom could make move to hire Mousinho
Ever since the departure of Carlos Corberan, the Baggies have regressed, and much of that is down to the appointment of Mowbray.
At the time, everyone knew it was the wrong appointment, and those fears came to fruition when Albion missed out on a top-six finish.
Championship | W | D | L | P |
Portsmouth | 14 | 12 | 20 | 54 |
However, it seems as though they haven’t learned from their past mistakes, with it claimed that Portsmouth’s Mousinho is on the list of candidates to take over.
Mousinho has done a good job with Pompey, but his experience in the Championship is minimal, and Albion need someone to come in who has experience of taking a side into the Premier League.
Mousinho doesn’t fit that bill, and the concern would be that West Brom could be in for another season full of shortcomings if he were appointed.

Shilen Patel has a huge task on his hands this summer
West Brom need to get the next appointment right, and af ailrue to do that will see that regression continue even further.
Recruitment needs to improve just as much, with much of this season’s failures down to the lack of quality on the pitch at The Hawthorns.
This summer is going to be a huge one for the Baggies, and they will be afforded no margin for error when it comes to decisions on and off the pitch.
