West Brom share brand new images of work at The Hawthorns already underway
West Brom are set to make major changes across the summer, including at The Hawthorns.
The Baggies are set to hire a new manager to replace Tony Mowbray, while there could be many changes to the playing squad in the summer transfer window.
West Brom are also making upgrades to The Hawthorns, and will aim to improve the matchday experience for fans after mixed reviews of the atmosphere this season.
The Midlands club have now made an announcement which should cause a lot of excitement among the West Brom faithful.

West Brom install safe-standing seats at The Hawthorns
West Brom chairman Shilen Patel has promised to make upgrades this summer, and he has already delivered, as there are works underway.
The Baggies have now released pictures of safe-standing seats being installed at The Hawthorns, which should help drive the atmosphere next season.
Opponent | Result |
Derby (H) | 1-3 L |
Cardiff (A) | 0-0 D |
Luton (H) | 5-3 W |
Safe-standing was approved in limited capacity in the EFL in 2022, but it is finally coming to West Brom in some areas of the ground.
This will see railings installed, which will allow supporters to stand during games, a measure which fans have been crying out for over the years.
Safe-standing can improve West Brom atmosphere
West Brom’s atmosphere has been hit and miss throughout the season, with results and performances playing a huge part in the excitement within the ground.
The style of football and poor league form under Mowbray naturally meant the atmosphere would take a downturn, and at times the matchday experience was a poor one for Baggies fans.
However, safe-standing could mean there is more energy in the ground regardless of form, with more fans standing and singing rather than being sat down and static, and these changes in The Hawthorns are a very positive step into helping the club advance in all areas.
Patel is also keen on improving the Women’s team at West Brom, and building a side which can challenge for promotion next season after the dismal end to this campaign saw them drop out of the play-off places.
