West Brom to ‘charge premium’ as Birmingham ready Tom Fellows transfer – Exclusive
West Brom could be facing a rocky summer at The Hawthorns, with plenty of change ahead.
Shilen Patel is already on the lookout for a new manager after the sacking of Tony Mowbray, with the playing squad in dire need of fresh impetus.
The likes of Grady Diangana and John Swift appear to be on the way out, with fresh speculation over the future of Tom Fellows already starting.
What makes it even worse is that Birmingham could soon be at the table.

Fellows wanted at St Andrews for Birmingham
Dan Plumley has insisted that if the Blues want to do any business with the Baggies, they will face a premium charge for any player.
The football finance expert admits that West Brom, and other clubs, will have seen what money Birmingham have already spent under new owners, so will look to take advantage of the Americans.
“Absolutely,” he exclusively told West Brom News when asked if they could up the price.
“If I’m in West Brom’s position, you are absolutely looking at upping the price, aren’t you?
“You’ve seen what kind of money Birmingham have spent in League One, you know enough noise from their ownership about how ambitious they are and how much money they want to invest.
“If you’ve seen that, those offers may become too good to turn down; that’s one factor, the local rivalry ramps that up a notch as well, and you are going to charge a premium if they want him.
“You can absolutely see West Brom doing that, and you can understand why.”

West Brom set for massive summer of transfers
With previous PSR worries still fresh in the mind at The Hawthorns, some big-money players leaving over the summer could open the door for a new era.
Kyle Bartley and Semi Ajayi are another two players who could leave, and it should help keep the likes of Fellows around, given how important they are.

Appearances | 45 |
Goals | 4 |
Assists | 14 |
The young winger was sensational for the Albion this season, especially early on when everything looked so positive, leading the way under Carlos Corberan.
Players like Fellows need to be built around, not sold at the first sign of interest, no matter what money is put on the table.
