West Brom ready Carlton Morris transfer as Championship twist emerges
West Brom are already putting plans into place on the recruitment front ahead of another season in the Championship.
After the disappointment of missing out on a spot in the play-offs, West Brom have a remarkable amount of work to do when the summer approaches.
Not only does the managerial situation at The Hawthorns need to be sorted, but recruitment is going to play a key role in deciding where they are next season.
With that in mind, the Baggies are looking to take advantage of relegating Luton, with Carlton Morris already on their radar.

Albion keeping tabs on Luton striker ahead of potential swoop
If West Brom are to have aspirations of promotion next season, they will need a significant injection of quality in the summer transfer window.
With Grady Diangana and Semi Ajayi both leaving, the Baggies will need to replace them, and with uncertainty over the striker situation, they have identified a possible target.
According to DOOD, Albion are weighing up a move for Luton Town’s Morris, though they face competition from five other Championship clubs.
Championship | Games | Goals | Assists |
Morris | 41 | 8 | 2 |
Morris had a troubled campaign last time out in the Championship, but more often than not, he knows where the net is, and that is something that the Baggies have lacked.
At 29 years old, Morris has plenty of experience, and given their relegation to League One, he’s likely to be one of several players leaving Kenilworth Road.

Morris signing could be a good move for Albion
Morris has an immense amount of physicality, and that is something that the Baggies have lacked up top more often than not.
His experience of playing in the Championship can only be a good thing, and he’s unlikely to demand a particularly inflated fee.
If a deal can be reached, it would surely be one worth looking into, though West Brom will still need many more this summer.
