West Brom former midfielder agrees terms with Midlands club after release
West Brom are likely to oversee a busy summer full of ins and outs at The Hawthorns.
The Baggies had a dreadful end to the campaign with Tony Mowbray facing the sack just three months into his tenure, as a play-off spot was lost.
As a result, a new head coach is set to come in with fresh ideas ready for the transfer window, with changes likely to go through.
With that being said, away from B71, transfers are already being completed with a former Baggies ace moving across the Midlands ahead of the new campaign.

Albion have had a very up-and-down few years, which have seen the Black Country outfit go from Premier League regulars to failing to make the Championship play-offs.
This has seen a number of first-team stars come and go, as a large turnover has seen the squad change many times under multiple head coaches.
Young players from the academy have played a part in these squads, with Tom Fellows the latest example to have a telling impact this campaign.
Back in 2008, there were high hopes for youngster Joss Labadie after he earned a first-team contract for his performances with the reserve side.
Despite this, the midfielder never made a senior appearance for the Baggies and instead went out on four loan spells before joining Tranmere Rovers on a permanent deal in 2010.
Years | Club | Appearances |
2008-10 | West Brom | 0 |
2010-12 | Tranmere Rovers | 61 |
2012-2014 | Notts County | 39 |
2014 | Torquay United | 7 |
2014-16 | Dagenham and Redbridge | 52 |
2016-21 | Newport County | 122 |
2021-23 | Walsall | 40 |
2023-25 | Solihull Moors | 43 |
Since then, the Englishman has gone on to play for the likes of Notts County, Torquay United, Walsall and Solihull Moors among others.
Now Labadie has found his latest club at 34 years old after Hednesford Town confirmed the signing of the Croydon-born ace on 22 May after his release from the Moors at the end of the season.

It is fair to say that the midfielder has been involved in his fair share of controversy since moving on from The Hawthorns in 2010.
This has seen him face a 10-game ban and was fined £2000 by the FA after being found guilty of biting a Chesterfield player while featuring for Torquay.
With that being said, Labadie has managed to forge out a career for himself, featuring over 40 times for National League side Solihull Moors across the last two years.
Now he finds himself at Northern Premier League Division One West level and is six tiers away from West Brom in the Championship.
